Approving Changes (new)

Our collaboration functionality is changing. Your implementation may not be updated yet. If your system looks like the image below, with "YOUR DRAFT" instead of "DRAFT", click here to see the appropriate help article.

Approvers and Administrators are responsible for reviewing suggested changes and either approving, declining or requesting changes. Timely approval of changes keeps the live environment as accurate as possible and helps to prevent conflicts between multiple change requests.

  1. Click on the Approvals tab to see the list of change requests.
  2. Click on a change request from the Pending Approval list. The Overview tab of the change request lists the history of changes made.

  3. Click the Changes tab to review the changes. A list of all additions, deletions and modifications made within the change set will appear on the left.

Click on a flow title to view a side-by-side comparison of the current live version and the suggested changes.

  4. Review all additions, deletions, and modifications.Tip On the Flows tab you can test the navigation of all flows and links to see how it will work when live!
  5. If you are ready to approve the changes, return to the Overview tab and click Approve + Publish. Choose whether you wish to notify everyone of the change, then click Approve + Publish again. The changes are now published to the live environment!

If you are not ready to approve the changes, do one of the following:

    • If you want the assignee to make further changes, click Request Changes. Enter the reason for your request (what changes you want them to make), then click Request Changes again.
    • If you want another user to make any further changes, edit the change request to change the assignee. You should enter a comment to let the new assignee know what further changes are required.
    • If you will not be approving the changes, click Decline. Enter the reason and click Decline again.
