Changing the Assignee for a Change Request

This function can be performed by users with the Approver role.

You can assign a change request to a different user to take over edits. Similarly you can assign the change request to yourself to make simple changes directly and avoid back-and-forth feedback.

  1. Open the change request.
  2. On the Overview tab, click Edit next to the Assignee name.

  3. Select a new Assignee from a list of all users who are members of the same entry point. You can change the change request's title here as well.
  4. Click Update change request.

Tip  You may wish to enter a comment to let the assignee know why you assigned the change request to them and tell them what further changes they need to make.


Note This is also accessible by clicking the three dots at the top right of the change request, and choosing Edit change request.
