Setting Your Preferred Language
COMING SOON - this capability is currently in beta and will be coming soon.
Procedureflow is currently available in English and French (Canadian). Note that this refers to system-generated content only, such as user interface labels, emails, and error messages. Content in flows is not translated.
Configure your preferred language
- Go to your profile: click your name in the top-right corner of the screen and choose Profile.
- In the Language field, select one of the following:
- Auto-detect (browser/device language) — Procedureflow will attempt to detect your language preferences from your device or browser settings and display that language (as long as it is one of the available options).
- English (US)
- Français (Canada)
- Click Update Profile.
- Refresh your page to see your selection reflected in Procedureflow.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I don't set a language in my Procedureflow profile?
Procedureflow follows a specific order of operations for determining which language to display to users:
- If you have a language configured in your Procedureflow profile, we will use that.
- If not, we will attempt to detect your device/browser language and display that, as long as it is either English (US) or French (Canada).
- If we are unable to detect your device/browser settings, we will display English.
I have my language preference set to French, but my flows are still showing up in English. Why?
At this time, Procedureflow only translates system-generated content, which includes things like user interface labels, emails, error messages, and other content that comes from Procedureflow itself. Procedureflow does not automatically translate user-generated content such as flows.
What language will Procedureflow content be when I'm not logged in?
Procedureflow content that is visible to a user who's not logged in, such as the Login page itself, will default to auto-detecting the user's device/browser settings, if possible. If we cannot auto-detect the user's device/browser settings or those settings are configured to a language that is not currently supported by Procedureflow, we will default to English.
